How is your Narration?

Just wondering if you guys are having a hard time with the narration of your projects. It is giving me nothing but trouble. If you’ve had success could you let me know how you did it?

Appropriation

Hey, for the power point slam, is anybody adding more contemporary examples of appropriation outside of the appropriation of Warhol’s art?

A couple things

Hey, I unearthed a few interesting things from my notes. Not quite sure who they will benefit, but if you can use ‘em take ‘em.

-on page 72 Warhol talking about in Sweden how an ugly person would break the beautiful monotony.

-on page 83 Warhol explains that in Italy they dub over your words “so no matter what you don’t say, you say it anyway”

-on page 84 Warhol mentions Paloma Picasso’s Mother amongst some famous people, funny, interesting, carry-over of fame.

Okay Meet on Wednesday at 4 in ML

Okay so we’ll meet on Wed at 4ish (i have class til 4 but will come right after)
Let’s meet in the ML coffee shop and we can go somewhere from there if we need too but i will have my laptop and ML is usually pretty quiet by that time.
I will likely be there around 4ish today (Tuesday) anyway if anybody wanted to chat about it but otherwise i will see you all tomorrow. (Wednesday).
Oh yeah, appropriation will obviously be a big theme for our presentation and I think i have some good ideas for it already. We’ll just have to see what is plausible with the limited time we have.

So We Have a New Reading Assignment

Okay so hopefully you all received the e-mail from Prof. O’Gorman nd know about the reading changes. I think we talked briefly about meeting at 4:15ish in ML tomorrow (Tuesday) and if this works for everybody we should do that, i will be there for sure and i will have my laptop. If we could have the readings done by then that would be ideal. Anyways, hopefully you see this and we’ll go from there
